About Business Value Modeling
You can evaluate different business values. The Business Value Modeling workspace shows values based on real data. You can also create your own modeling report.
Generating the Business Value Model Report
1.Log into the Service Desk Console.
2.Open the Business Value Modeling workspace.
From the Report drop-down menu are two default reports:
•IT Support Performance Report
•Service Level Effectiveness
3.Choose a report and view the parameters in the table.
4.From the Date Range area, enter the start and end date of the data to analyze.
5.Click Preview. The system displays the raw data and a corresponding graph at the bottom of the page.
6.To save the data for use as a baseline, click Save Results. The system saves the results.
Creating a New Business Value Modeling Configuration
1.Log into the Service Desk Console.
2.Open the Business Value Modeling workspace.
3.Click New Configuration.
4.Under the Parameter Details tab, click Add Parameter to begin adding your report parameters.
5.Click Save.
